Spreading Circular Design from Local Communities to the COP31 Global Stage

At Loading Bag / Upcycle Hero, we believe that fighting climate change requires active education and community advocacy. We don't just sell upcycled products; we actively lead the conversation on circular economy and upcycling culture across schools, universities, conferences, and environmental summits.

Impact Hub İstanbul Incubation: Sourced and nurtured by the prestigious Impact Hub İstanbul, our Upcycle Hero project underwent an intensive incubation program, receiving long-term professional climate-tech consultancy that successfully prepared our business model for international markets.

COP31 Representation: Reflecting our growing impact within the sustainability ecosystem, Loading Bag and Upcycle Hero have been invited to participate and be represented in the prestigious COP31 Climate Conference organization hosted by the Antalya Governorate.

Upcycle Istanbul Art & Design Festival: For two consecutive years, we have hosted hands-on upcycling workshops at the festival, teaching participants how to convert advertising banners and remnants into custom cardholders and tote bags.

Museum & Public Education Workshops: We proudly design and conduct interactive upcycling educational modules, including environmental day workshops at the Arkas Art Museum and Bornova Municipality.
